The Art Deco swimming pool in Le Touquet was built in 1931 by architect Jean-Philippe Poteau in the Art Deco style that was popular at the time. It was destined to become a major attraction for the seaside resort of Le Touquet-Paris-Plage, which was very popular in the 1920s and 1930s.
The swimming pool has been designed as an elegant and functional building, with relaxation and leisure areas for visitors. It was decorated with mosaics, sculptures and murals, made by renowned artists of the time.
It has also been used to host cultural and sporting events, such as swimming competitions and art exhibitions.
Today, the Art Deco swimming pool in Le Touquet is considered one of the finest examples of Art Deco architecture in France and continues to attract visitors from around the world for its retro vibe and unique aesthetic.
